‘Travel is good’ report March 9, 2008

The CSS (County Surveyor’s Society) has published a report, Travel is good, written by the CSS Transport Futures Group, with the Transportation Research Group at the University of Southampton, investigating the relationship between county travel planners and public opinion about travel.

“The massive transport challenges facing the UK need to be tackled in ways that allow us to make informed choices about how we travel and without leaving us feeling guilty about enjoying it, according to a new CSS report whose recommendations include a long term shift to hydrogen-based fuels”
