International Meteor Organization

The IMO is a non-proft making international organization, set up to facilitate and support international amateur work, its main objectives being ‘to encourage, support and coordinate meteor observing, to improve the quality of amateur observations, to disseminate observations and results to other amateurs and professionals and to make global analyses of observations received world-wide’.

Amongst the resources on its site, there is the Meteor Shower Calendar, information on meteor science, such as meteor observation methods, various databases such as the Visual Meteor Database and a number of others, links to software and a glossary.
